John Forstell was the Director of the FBI, and formerly the Assistant Director of the FBI Office of Professional Responsibility. He was originally called in to investigate Special Agent Hannah Wells, but after she was cleared and Deputy Director Jason Atwood was arrested for the death of Majid Nassar, he became Wells' ally. Unfortunately, this partnership ended once Forstell subpoenaed the First Lady.
Before he was named the head of OPR, Asst. Dir. Forstell served as a United States attorney. He was recommended to President Tom Kirkman to serve as the acting Attorney General.
He later died while running into the subway to warn his men of the bomb inside, which blew up and killed everyone inside, including Forstell.
