James Royce is the former Governor of Michigan. After the Capitol Bombing, Royce began to fear the Muslim community in Michigan and ordered the Michigan State Police Department to detain the Muslim community (which resulted in the death of a 17 year old Muslim boy named Danny Fayad). Although a bluff from Tom Kirkman initially halted these actions, Royce used an interview in which Kirkman stated he had been fired from cabinet but offered an ambassadorship as a way to delegitimise and re-institute his orders and proceed with arresting the Muslim community. When Kirkman attempted to force Royce to desist through the National Guard, Royce convinced their commanding-officer to side with him, he was eventually forced to come to Washington DC when White House Staff Member Emily Rhodes used the protestors to protest on national television. Royce was forced to accept Rhodes request to meet with Kirkman due to the risk of losing his support if he had ordered the peaceful protestors to be detained, Royce reluctantly conceded and agreed to meet with Kirkman but instead of open dialogue, Kirkman had him arrested for treason against the United States.

Biography[]

Following the Capitol Bombing, Royce began to develop a trepidation about the Muslim community in Michigan and gave the order to the Michigan State Police to detain them which coincidentally resulted in the death of a 17 year old boy named Danny Fayad. News of aggressive Muslim arrests in Michigan began to spread during Kirkman's speech at the wreckage of the United States Capitol. When contacted by Kirkman, he defended his actions by saying that he was just protecting his citizens, but ceased the arrests after Kirkman bluffed that he arrested three Federal Agents of Homeland Security

However Royce used an interview in which Kirkman admitted to being fired from President Richmonds Cabinet but was conveyed to an ambassadorship however this caused doubt about the legitimacy of Kirkman's Presidency which Royce used as a pretext to delegitimise and re-initiate the detainment of the Muslim community. Royce was eventually contacted by White House Staff Member Emily Rhodes who he refused to give access to or leave the city, Royce then convinced the National Guard to side with him and refuse the order to federalise, preventing Kirkman from utilising them against him to force him to step down. However Rhodes managed to get the Muslim protestors to protest at the airport. Due to the protestors being peaceful and on live national television, Royce was forced to accept Rhodes request to meet with President Kirkman or risk jeopardising his support, upon meeting with Kirkman, Royce greeted him and offered peaceful dialogue but instead Kirkman had him arrested and charged with treason against the United States.
