Charlotte Thorn was a British Member of Parliament and was chosen as a representative at the G-20 conference. As an MP Thorn was an outspoken advocate on issues like women's rights, illegal arms dealing, and corporate responsibility. Thorn was murdered on a run in the park by an her assistant.
Thorn had been married and was in the process of finalizing her divorce while being in Dubai and starting an affair with Cornelius Moss. Moss visited Thorn in her office on the 21st, a day before her murder. Thorn's assistant Peyton Lane heard them arguing and heard him leaving unhappy. There, Peyton confessed her love to Thorn, but the latter turned her away.
While taking a jog, she was then shot by Peyton, whom had wanted retribution for her rejection.
